Four paired values
Each axis shows both values as percentages that add up to 100, such as 59% Equality and 41% Markets.
Unofficial · Open-source 8values
Seventy statements place you on four axes: economic, diplomatic, civil and societal. The statements, scoring and closest-match rule are the original 8values ones.
Each axis splits 100% between its two values. Your result also names the closest of 52 ideology profiles.
Your result
Every part of the result uses the original 8values rules, so it matches what the official site would show for the same answers.
Each axis shows both values as percentages that add up to 100, such as 59% Equality and 41% Markets.
A score above 90 on Equality reads “Communist”, 40–60 reads “Centrist”, and so on, using the seven original labels for each axis.
Your four scores are compared with 52 ideology profiles from 8values. The nearest one is shown, as a starting point rather than a verdict.
Method
Each statement moves one or more axes. Your answer sets how far: Strongly agree counts fully, Agree half, Neutral not at all, and the disagree answers count in the other direction.
Each axis score compares your total with the most it could be, so every axis runs from 0 to 100.
Demo · Statement 1 · Economic axis
“Oppression by corporations is more of a concern than oppression by governments.” moves Economic by +10 (toward Equality) and Civil by −5.
Agree multiplies the weight by 0.5, adding +5 to your Economic total.
Economic weights across all 70 statements add up to 195 in absolute terms. If your answers total +39, the score is 100 × (195 + 39) ÷ 390 = 60.0% Equality, and Markets is 40.0%.
