Your answers, your choice.
See what happens to your answers, what a result link contains, and how to clear your saved tests.
How the test handles data.
| Feature | What happens | How long it stays |
|---|---|---|
| Answers and scores | Your browser selects questions and calculates the report. | A draft and the current report use this tab’s session storage. |
| Save on this device | Your choice enables local storage of that edition’s draft. | Until you clear it or your browser removes site data. |
| Display theme | The selected theme is kept in local storage. | Until you change it or clear browser site data. |
| Result link | The fragment after # contains edition, model version, twelve scores and non-neutral counts. | For as long as a copy exists in messages, bookmarks or browser history. |
| Report image | The browser generates an image from your scores. | Downloaded files remain wherever you save them. |
Choose what to keep.
Use “Save progress on this device between visits” when you start or continue a test to retain that edition’s draft across visits. Turning it off before continuing removes that edition’s device copy. Otherwise, progress uses the current tab. Browser session restoration can also restore tab data.
“Clear saved test data” removes this site’s drafts and current report from the browser where you use it. Your theme preference remains. Browser settings can remove all site data, including that preference.
Manage saved test data →Sharing a report.
- A result link contains scores and non-neutral counts. Individual answers remain in your draft.
- Anyone with the link can read and forward the report. Choose where you share it.
- The URL fragment is available to your browser and page scripts; it is not included in a normal HTTP page request.
- Clearing local test data does not revoke links or remove downloaded images. Manage those copies where they were saved or shared.
Anonymous page statistics.
- We use Plausible at analytics.lingyi.systems to record visits, reading time and scroll depth on the homepage and public information pages, including the source of visits and basic browser and device information.
- The analytics script runs on public information pages. It is not loaded on the questionnaire or result pages. Answers, scores and non-neutral counts are not sent to the analytics service.
- Before a pageview is sent, query parameters and URL fragments are removed. Referrers are reduced to the referring website’s origin. Form submissions, file downloads and outbound link events are disabled.
- The tracker does not create analytics cookies or a persistent browser identifier. Requests to the analytics service, like other internet requests, expose your IP address to that service. Blocking analytics does not affect the test or report.
Page requests and contact.
The hosting service receives normal page requests, which can include your IP address, browser information, time and requested path. Hosting access logs are separate from the answers scored in your browser.
The site creates no test accounts and includes no advertising scripts. Following an external source link takes you to that provider’s website.
When you email 12Axes Studio, the message and details you choose to include are processed by email services and used to handle your request. For a privacy request, contact [email protected].
